I first knew I wanted to be in the travel industry when I was 14 years old. Having never left Canada I ventured on a trip to Club Med St. Lucia. A bit of culture shock on arrival turned into a love affair with traveling by the time we left. After graduating with an honours diploma in Tourism and Travel my goal to work at Disney was derailed when I met my Prince Charming. I finally got my first visit on our Honeymoon. Each stay since has only fueled the obsession and I now have a Prince and Princess of my own and love seeing the magic through their eyes!
It’s evident to family and friends when they walk in our front door that we are a family of Disney geeks. From our trip countdown calendar to our pin trading board proudly displayed, Disney is very much a part of our daily lives. My geek side also comes out when I plan vacations. I love listening to Disney Podcasts, chatting online with other Disney fans, watching YouTube videos of the rides and checking out the latest Disney food blogs. I have personal experience with both Disneyworld and Disneyland and have graduated from the Disney College of Knowledge. As a family we have also cruised with Carnival and Royal Caribbean and either visited or stayed on a dozen of the islands in the Caribbean.
